(Session has been postponed to Wednesday, 09.10.2024) The fictionalist account of virtual reality (VR) is an anti-realist position, asserting that the things we perceive in VR are not real but fictional. While metaphysically parsimonious, this view raises questions about whether the beliefs of those engaging in VR are coherent and whether their actions are rational. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A.
